Lay the cold pack flat in a freezer
Freeze the cold pack for at least two hours
When completely frozen, remove the cold pack from the freezer
Place a towel between your skin and the cold pack

Heat pack in microwave for 15-20 seconds at a time until warm. Do not exceed 150 degrees.
